Brazil’s Natura Completes Sale of Avon Russia Operations for €26.9M

Brazilian cosmetics powerhouse Natura & Co has completed the sale of Avon’s Russian operations for approximately €26.9 million, concluding a long-planned strategic realignment that refocuses the group on its core markets in Latin America.

The Russian unit of Avon once a legacy part of Natura’s global portfolio was acquired by Arnest Group, a Russian manufacturer specializing in perfumery, cosmetics and household products. With this divestment, Natura has exited all of its non-Latin American markets, leaving behind the last international asset it held outside the region.

According to company disclosures, the transaction which was finalised in mid-February brings the beauty group closer to fulfilling its corporate simplification strategy, a plan designed to streamline operations and sharpen its focus on growth within its strongest markets.

Natura’s executive leadership said the sale represents a strategic milestone, underscoring a pivot towards Latin America where the company’s flagship and Avon Latin America businesses continue to operate. The firm expects the restructuring process to bolster agility, improve operational efficiency and enhance long-term value for stakeholders.

The sale follows a series of divestments announced over the past year, including deals in other regions where Natura had scaled down its Avon presence. With the Russia transaction now complete, the company’s international footprint is significantly reduced in favour of deepening its Latin American market presence.

Financial analysts have noted that focusing on core regions could help Natura strengthen its competitive positioning amid evolving global market dynamics, particularly as consumer demand stabilises post-pandemic.

The proceeds from the sale were received by Natura in mid-February 2026 and are expected to support the company’s strategic initiatives and growth objectives going forward.
